Portfolio Presentation Schedule for Receiving Honors
2021 A.RPST and F.RPST

Application fee for honors examination
1. Application fee for A.RPST examination
1.1 For members of the association who are a Thai citizen: 500 baht per person
1.2 For members of the association who are a foreigner: US$30 per person
2. Application fee for the F.RPST exam
2.1 For members of the association who are a Thai citizen: 1,000 baht per person
2.2 For members of the association who are a foreigner: US$50 per person

Presentation conditions
For A.RPST
1. Applicant must be a member who has held a complete membership for at least 1 year.
2. Lifetime member has the right to apply for the examination immediately.
3. Applicant must submit 15 monochrome or color photos with the length not exceeding 18 inches and not less than 16 inches, which have artistic value or pictorial approach that shows that the applicant has the ability and expertise in many genres as well as understands the composition and has the quality that meets the standard. The photographic work must belong to the applicant.
4. For the A.RPST examination, the committee will consider the photos to determine how much the applicant understands photography. The consideration will include camera usage:
4.1 Choosing various lens ranges from wide, normal, tele to macro lenses.
4.2 Selecting shutter speed, such as stop-action, panning.
4.3 Selecting an aperture, such as positioning the foreground, background.
4.4 The photos should have a variety of images such as landscape, architecture, portrait, lifestyle, close-up, morning, night.
5. Annual applicant who has been considered as eligible for the A.RPST honors must first apply for a lifetime membership in order to receive the A.RPST honors.
6. The applicant must have at least 12 images that pass the examination to be considered a pass.

For F.RPST
1. Applicant must be a member who has held a complete membership for at least 1 year.
2. Lifetime member has the right to apply for the examination immediately.
3. Applicant must already have received A.RPST or A.RPS honors (from England) in order to be eligible to apply for F.RPST honors.
4. Applicant must submit 20 monochrome or color photos with the length not exceeding 18 inches and not less than 16 inches. The photos must be a set or pictorial photos with artistic value that shows that the applicant has the ability and expertise in that genre as well as understands the composition and has the quality that meets the standard. The photographic work must belong to the applicant.
5. Applicants have to write expisitory, narrative, or descriptive essay (please fit word content on a single A4 page) regarding to the submitted series
6. Annual applicant who has been considered as eligible for the F.RPST honors must first apply for a lifetime membership in order to receive the F.RPST honors.
7. The applicant must have at least 16 images that pass the examination to be considered a pass.

Applying for examination and submitting photos
1. Download the examination application form

2. Photos submitted for consideration must be attached to a gray or black hard card and clearly write the number of the order of the photos and the name of the applicant behind the photos.
3. Applicant attaches the work file to the CD or a flash drive with an image size of 3000×2000 pixels and a resolution of 300 pixels/inch. Save the file as jpg.
4. Pay the examination fee in cash and submit with the application form and portfolio or transfer money into the account name “The Royal Photographic Society of Thailand”.
