ปัจจุบัน สมาชิกสมาคมถ่ายภาพแห่งประเทศไทย ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ประเภท โดยได้กำหนดค่าธรรมเนียมในการเป็นสมาชิกสมาคมฯ ดังนี้

• ราย 1 ปี
  500 บาท (ยังไม่รวม ค่าธรรมเนียมแรกเข้า 50 บาท กรณีเพิ่งเคยสมัครสมาชิก)
• ราย 3 ปี
  1,200 บาท (ยังไม่รวม ค่าธรรมเนียมแรกเข้า 50 บาท กรณีเพิ่งเคยสมัครสมาชิก)
• ตลอดชีพ
  10,000 บาท (ยังไม่รวม ค่าธรรมเนียมแรกเข้า 50 บาท กรณีเพิ่งเคยสมัครสมาชิก)

• สามารถเข้าอบรมหรือ Workshop ทางการถ่ายภาพต่างๆที่จัดขึ้นโดยสมาคมถ่ายภาพแห่งประเทศไทย ทั้งแบบไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่าย / เสียค่าใช้จ่ายที่ถูกกว่าบุคคลทั่วไป
• ได้รับส่วนลดในการเข้าร่วมอบรม ฟังบรรยาย Artist Talk หรือ Workshop ในโครงการ RPST Master Series
• ได้รับส่วนลดในการร่วมกิจกรรมถ่ายภาพและอบรมนอกสถานที่ (RPST Photo Trip)
• สิทธิ์ในการเข้าสอบเกียรตินิยมทางการถ่ายภาพของสมาคมฯ (หมายเหตุ: รายละเอียดเพิ่มเติม กรุณาสอบถามเจ้าหน้าที่)
• ได้รับสิทธิ์ในการลงสมัครแข่งขันถ่ายภาพบางรายการที่สงวนไว้สำหรับสมาชิกสมาคมฯโดยเฉพาะ อาทิเช่น One Shot Knockout
• ได้รับสิทธิ์ในการเลือกตั้งนายกสมาคมถ่ายภาพแห่งประเทศไทย (หมายเหตุ: ต้องเป็นสมาชิกไม่น้อยกว่าสองปี รายละเอียดเพิ่มเติม กรุณาสอบถามเจ้าหน้าที่)

นอกจากนี้ยังมีสิทธิพิเศษอื่นๆอีกมากมายตามที่สมาคมฯจะประกาศแจ้งเป็นกรณี

• Access to Photography Training and Workshops
  Members are eligible to participate in photography training sessions and workshops organized by the RPST, either free of charge or at a reduced fee compared to the general public.
• Discounts for RPST Master Series Activities
  Members receive special discounts on training sessions, artist talks, and workshops under the RPST Master Series program.
• Discounts on Outdoor Photography Trips (RPST Photo Trip)
  Members enjoy discounted rates for participating in outdoor photography activities and field workshops organized by the RPST.
• Eligibility to Apply for RPST Photography Distinctions
  Members have the privilege to apply for RPST photography distinctions. (Note: For more information, please contact the RPST office.)
• Exclusive Access to Select Photography Competitions
  Members are eligible to apply for certain photography competitions reserved exclusively for RPST members, such as the One Shot Knockout competition.
• Voting Rights in RPST Presidential Elections
  Members who have maintained their membership for at least two consecutive years are granted the right to vote in the election of the RPST President. (Note: Please contact the RPST office for further details.)

Additionally, members may receive other special privileges as announced by the RPST from time to time.
